Any chance you could release your previous tracks in anything over 128k? I've got some Sennheiser HD600 and Beyerdynamic cans on a Little Dot MK V amplifier dying for more bitrate.
Are you or 8bitcollective going to post clean versions of the sets?
I so want this stuff, but listening online isn't working out so well--the stream drops a lot, and the stream for Sunday night at least is waaaaay distorted. It's like someone bumped the volume feed to maximum somewhere along the way without noticing, and the entire mix is way too hot. Basically like listening to blown speakers.
Anyway, I'd really love to hear your set. I hope you have clean mixes and post them!!
Yeah...The Trash80 set is on right now. This is what it sounds like: SSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHSHSHSHHHSHSHHSH. I think at some point they changed from a soundboard recording to a mic in front of a speaker? It wasn't distorted earlier.
I stayed up late with a final tomorrow morning so I could listen, but no go. Depressing, man! I so wanted to hear the new tracks too. What I can make out of it sounds great...
I'll stop whining and go to bed now. Maybe I can make it to the live show next year. But if you have a chance to post the stream or new stuff, it would seriously make my year.
I asked the audience if it was loud enough, they said no, the person running the main board turned it up. also i compensated for the soundsystem durring sound check and was running my lowend super hot, it souded fine on the speakers.
The problem with the stream is that no one was monitoring it I guess, and the line level to the computer was probably too high.
There was video taping of the show. I'll post a update to that when I find out more. (it will most likely be months for all I know)
It would be awesome if there were a downloadable video. I hope it happens, even if it takes a few months. Thanks a lot!
