Of all game music, this one has to rate at the top of my list. Even if Darwinia didn't have much of a story, this song somehow bridged the gap between what the game represented and my imagination. It breaths a life and character into those little green darwinians, and it made me really want,to save them. Steller work!

This song has become an integral part of the lives of many of my close friends. It was introduced to us by our one friend along with some other Tresk material but Pain Fade Down is the one that stuck. We listened to it at work almost every day, and since we worked in a LAN center (that had Darwinia) the music grew to become popular with many of our customers. One customer actually took the song and programmed a step chart for use with the Pump It Up dance game, which was later translated for use with the more popular In The Groove as we had an ITG arcade cabinet. Amazing and thank you.

In the infant days of Darwinian development (about when it was revealed that you would be supplying music), I found your then-basic website.
After listening to a few songs, I had to get them all. I listened intensely to your music for weeks, and I still do to this day (although not quite as often).
This one song, 'Pain Fade Down', however, has stuck.
It is pure electronical bliss.

I heard this song through darwinia, and was hooked, had to listen to the rest of your stuff. excellent work, your music lended so much atmosphere and style to darwinia, one of the few times I've been really inspired by game music that didn't come from square-enix

As a big fan of "micromusic" I expanded my search for same kind of 8bit music :-P. Came across your website not half a year before Darwinia came out.
Have been listening to you music ever since, mostly @ work
'Pain Fade Down' & 'Schroeder's Failure' are my all time favorites.
With 'Sodium Sonet' & 'ie ahm robox' coming in close 2nd

Hee hee, I think I got it, it's just "Let your pain fade down", right? And sometimes you hear another voice which says "Let your pain, your pain".

Jepp... just finished darwinia. Once again. I stopped counting. Might be the tenth time, but I am not sure... My best regards and wishes from germany. Hope youre doing good and I also hope that in ... maybe five years... this page is still alive so I can leave another comment :-D
