Yay! The streams are available online here:
http://listen.nwfolklife.org/listen/festival/1/2009-05-23

For now, the source code for the site also gives the direct link to the MP3 of the Trash80 performance:

(To Trash80: Depending on how you feel about people downloading your performance, feel free to mutilate this post.)

The direct recording online was a little quiet and subdued, so I normalized it and tried to restore some of the missing/dulled frequencies. I think it sounds a little more full sounding, so I thought I'd share.

As before, if you don't want this posted, feel free to mutilate it, Trash80:

It's cool with me. I need to redo the spam stuff to allow links when i have a little more free time. Glad you liked the show.

Cool. =D

BTW, anyone clicking on those links--the links are listed properly, but clicking brings you to various mixed up pages. You can just select-drag-and-drop into the tab area in Firefox to quickly get around it.

OK, so how the feck do I buy this stuff and where from. I downloaded the Folklife live show and its been playing constantly on my iPod and laptop, seriously, I need you to put this onto CD then tell me how much I need to pay for it.

BTW I recognise the 3rd track (6:00) from Icarus??, but you did an [excessiveuseofcaps]AMAZING[/excessiveuseofcaps]job remixing it for the show, I would pay 10GBP just for that one track in a cleaner, and longer mix (before the battery runs out? :P )

I'm listening to it right now, coding up some stuff for a client, and I'll probably slide the timer back to 6 minutes and start it over, and over again...smashing work old bean.

Sounds like it was a real throwdown, especially with Trash AND Sabre being there. Too bad I was on the other side of the country.

I want new trash80 news. It bums me that you haven't posted anything here in so long. I hope all these unreleased songs get released soon... my birthday's wednesday, would make for the best birthday present I can think of. ;)

Don't mean to rush you, though! heh

I am indeed very excited for that rework of Ava to be published, as well as all that other unreleased stuff you have going on...
